We (a High St shop) heard of a possible covid-related grant via the Growth Hub, applied, and were thrilled c6 weeks later to receive a Yes. But also, along the journey, we were impressed by the helpful staff within the Growth Hub and their general culture of proactively offering help.
SWLEP have provided us with expert advice and a wide range of services and support to help us develop our business and survive the challenges of the Covid pandemic. The team are all very knowledgeable and are able to signpost to the appropriate team member for one to one support, peer networking, kickstart programme and free training for our own team. As a business we feel we are developing the skills needed to grow our business for the future.

Total sham and unhelpful to local businesses. They say they help local businesses but instead are just another publicly funded quango. This organisation reminds me of 'Business Link', another quango that was forced to close as it was a waste of tax payers money.
