I have to say that I have been impressed with the professionalism shown by the team at Miranda House. The care team there have done all they can to keep families in contact during this difficult time, as well as keep residents as active as possible with a myriad of activities.

Miranda house is the most amazing place, not only do they look after the residents they look after family too. I am aware that staff have during this dreadful year put the residents first before their family. One member of staff didn’t see her daughter for 12 weeks whilst she worked along with the other staff to ensure that residents like my dad were looked after. We as a family are so pleased that my dad is safe secure and cared for. The dedicated staff are extremely good at looking after dads complex needs and adjust his needs on a daily basis. As we know it’s a very trying time currently, but again the staff go out of their way to ensure contact is made and give regular updates, with photos and FaceTime calls. Thank you to each and everyone of you, you’ll never know how much you have helped us as a family.

I have had to give 1 star to be able to write this review. 1star is way too much , my dad was in Miranda house nursing home for approx 3months and I am disgusted in the lack of care my dad recieved , when we brought him home the urine in the bag was almost chocolate coloured he was on the verge of a water infection , dad lost 2tone in weight and his toenails were 2ins long the small toenails were bent under and digging into the soles of dads feet and his shoes had been forced on and all dad could do was hobble . The chiropadist that we took dad too said he had never had his toenails cut , I myself have worked in a nursing home and to say that I am disgusted by the lack of care he recieved is an understatement . please check this place out before you send any loved one there , because we didnt get that chance

We all agree this is a difficult job and incidents occur but when they do you expect to be told the truth not lied to by the management who conspire to hide the truth in a raft of lies blaming it on the very people they are there to protect .How can you trust these people with your loved one's they bring shame on a lot of very dedicated loving carers.

Keep your loved ones away from this home! Failing management, neglect, my father was taken to hospital three days After he had a bone broken!!!!!!! AVOID UNTIL IT'S INVESTIGATED
