The most excellent library in all of Long Island, if not perhaps the USA. This place is like a second home for me. I would be happy to move in. It is an excellent place to work, to read, dare I say relax,? The collection of books and resources are very exstensive and one always comes away with books far more usefully than first expected. Swirbul Library gets a big thumbs up from me.

This is a great library. Many seats and tables. More then 12 private rooms for studying. Many resources books and research.

This is not your mama's library. Adelphi University's Swirbul library is the heartbeat of the campus. It is filled with up to date resources and ways to access information. Lots of study spaces and collaboration studios perfect for college students to work together on projects and studying. ***Due to the Pandemic, it is currently only open to students, faculty and staff who are on campus. Alumni can access services on line. Normally the community has access but that access is on hold at this time.

Beautiful library..with ponds and infinity ponds...located in a busy part of the campus. Parking lot close by which provides for an easy access. There are many quiet areas to study. Overall there needs to be more noise control. While studying I had to endure students speaking loudly and rehearsing a dance...I would recommend this library to non Adelphi students as a great place to bury yourself for alot of hours to get some solid work done. Great opening hours
