We were traveling from Wisconsin to Arizona when our Sprinter chassis motorhome transmission failed. Called around to many auto repair places and was referred to Swope. They got us in the shop the same day and on the road with a new transmission two days later. Nice calm no pressure competent auto repair. Highly recommended!

They have always been fair and reasonable with their pricing, and their explanations help me understand what work needs to be done right away...and what work can be put off for a while if needed. I appreciate their friendly demeanor and willingness to tackle any automotive issues that I present to them.

I went to Swope for an oil change and also a state inspection for my 2015 Hyundai. The charge for the inspection was 12.50. I went to the license bureau to renew my license plates and was told that a state inspection is not needed on vehicles as new as mine. I have no doubt that Swope new this state regulation and they did the inspection anyway and charged me 12.50 for it. I would like my money back for that inspection because I know darn well that Swope new my car did not need an inspection but they did it anyway. I will never return to Swope Automotive for that reason. I would like a refund of my 12.50,and shame on you for being dishonest.

My air conditioning wasn't working so I got as estimate here. It was high but still reasonable, so we went through with it. However it stopped working again a week later and we went back here to figure out what happened. Apparently they didn't fix it, they just diagnosed it and there was still a thousand dollars left to fix on the AC. After trying to get the money back from the psuedo-repair and making my wife cry, they drop an "Oh and now there is a belt that is holding on by a thread and about to snap which is also 1,200 bucks." Completely outrageous. So I drove to my hometown in Joplin Missouri and went to Gideon's auto repair. They fixed it, without a diagnoses test that drains our funds, for less than half of Swope's quoted price. Also they didn't see anything wrong with any belts. Untrustworthy service like this should not be supported by anyone. Do not go here.

Okay don't ever take your mini Cooper here they will leave it in shambles if you don't say yes to the amount they wanna charge.. rude. Guy the sits... needs to know the guys that stand.. thx swope... you guys suuuckk. You will be gearing from me again :) have a nice and pleasant evening
