Lovely B&B with excellent, friendly service. Rooms were lovely and very well appointed. Really enjoyed the wraparound porch with numerous sitting areas. Breakfast was excellent. Good location, close to many areas of interest. No complaints whatsoever.

Awesome old house in Sydney. It's along a busy road but inside the house was quiet. Beautiful veranda with lots of seating. Bev's breakfast was excellent! Well appointed character room with bathroom. We were able to walk to the waterfront. Great stop in Sydney.
A memorable stay at Colby House. The house and room were charming and filled with character. It was very relaxing to sip our wine on the spacious veranda after a long drive. Our room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Bev's breakfasts were delicious and varied. We were able to walk to downtown Sydney and enjoy the waterfront and sample several restaurants which Bev had recommended. We would definitely return to Colby House.

What a beautiful place! The school apartment is perfect! Well decorated and fully equipped! We felt at home! The hostess and the host are wonderful people! She prepared this delicious vegan breakfast for us! The vegan blueberry pancakes were the best! Wow! This is the place! Thank you!
I had a wonderful stay at Colby House. I dropped in spontaneously after having hiked on Newfoundland for a week and after a night on a ferries floor... i felt like newborn and am thankful that I was invited inside and not told to leave for how I torn down must have looked. ;-) Thank you for making this a very warm welcome in Nova Scotia! Oh and for the breakfast and overall service I have no words!
Fantastic in every way. Bev has thought of everything! Rooms, food, bathroom necessities and niceties, all designed for comfort and elegance. Affordable and welcoming. Highly recommend this flawless B&B.
