They have 2 dollar tacos, we had the chorizo ones. It was delicious had a nice spice and was very flavorful. The homemade corn tortillas made the tacos for me.

Great great great food :) , if you wont Mexican food look no further ... the food here has Flavorful food every test is great , shrimp are just Cook to perfection :) Have gone here 3 time in 2 weeks I have had the burritos, tacos, quesadillas, all supper good Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food If you like this review give me a thumbs up
We stumbled on El Jefe by accident making a wrong turn in Sydney and we are glad we did. Great little spot serving amazing traditional Mexican food, like the sign says "Mexican food so authentic Donald Trump would build a wall around it" and the food didn't disappoint, happy hour meant 5 margaritas and ice cold bottles of Sol, amazing mix of flavors in the enchiladas, you can tell everything was made to order, nothing processed, with a decent amount of heat in the food. The ambiance was perfect for a Mexican restaurant, well decorated, only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the service was a bit slow with only 1 server handling 6-8 tables, other than that a fantastic hidden gem.
My first time, but it will no means be my last. The food and service are top notch for me. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great little spot. Delicious tacos. Vry tasty. Had chorizo and pork. Just a tip from other restaurants ive been at. Using two tortillas instead of one because they tend to fall apart easy would help. Some different sauces or salsa on the table would be great aswell. Will be back!
I had been wanting to try this place for awhile now. It was a good experience, the complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. I had the enchiladas (with both green and red sauce) they were very very tasty and not too spicy. (Green sauce was preferred!) My dining partner had steak fajitias which were well cooked and flavourful. They also have a drink menu, we had a margarita and a beer. Service was great, the atmosphere/decor/furniture could use some work. All in all I will definitely be back! Great to have some authentic Mexican cuisine in the Cape!
