We had our anniversary there, the manager was so nice to come and congrats us, then he ordered special desert from the chef for us with the words "happy anniversary" on it. The food was great, delicious and talented in the way the combine the ingredients together. I strongly recommend this restaurant for you, price is acceptable and the food is worth the money

Very solid dining experience. I like the ambience and decor of Bacar. If you are not staying nearby, it's not that easy to park so allow a bit of time for parking. Bacar is also on Accor table plus (for those Accor Plus members). Steffie was great, but the rest of the wait staff seemed like they were still being trained... Cocktails and wine was good (the bottles of wine are very well priced and quite good). Entrees of Serrano ham and cheese board were spectacular, the beef tenderloins were good (a little bit of inconsistency in cooking medium and medium rare, but no big deal), but the lamb was not very nice. The sides of truffle fries and steamed vegetables were just ok - I would avoid the lamb though.

I've given it 3 stars because I wanted to give a fair rating based on current circumstances. We came here to try Bacar's newly introduced "Bottomless" High Tea and was greeted at the entrance by a lovely gentleman who went to grab a member of staff after we told him we were here to try the bottomless experience. Had a lovely lady show us to the table with a menu and was told she will tell the chef to prepare our high tea menu. The wait wasn't an issue as there were other patrons dining but we were left sitting without drinks (or asked what we'll like) for 30 minutes out of our 2 hours timed seating. Eventually I had to flag a member of staff to question the bottomless experience (starting to get thirsty!) and was told it came with one glass of sparkling wine. There was a bit of discussion around this until I corrected her and told her it should be "bottomless" as per the website (which I showed her). Food arrived shortly thereafter and so did our glass of wine. The refills happened infrequently however they did allow us to extend our experience by a little bit to make up for the confusion. Note to management: I sympathise and understand that COVID has been a big disruption to everyone particular F&B hence why I have not given a lower rating because I understand introducing a new menu AND having limited staff on rotating shifts can impact dining experience. I think your bottomless menu is a good introduction (might get more people out and trying the restaurant) so my recommendation is to ensure all member of staff is across the offering and are more attentive to providing a positive experience. Overall it was a nice experience but I can see it being so much more (it's the finer details) Will love to come back in the future to try your bottomless experience again and be able to update this review.

I had a three course menu designed for the week of Australia Day which included prawns, a beef cheek pie and a beautiful lamington flavoured dessert! The staff were wondering, food was incredible and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I also noted the attention being paid to social distancing and covid protocols by the staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food was amazing! Had the beef cheek, and it was soooo tender. Would have loved to try the duck breast. We were served by Steffie, who was absolutely delightful. We will definitely come back!

Came for the valentines day special, the presentation was good, but the food was a bit average, unfortunately

Great value for Accorplus member. Booked through their website with half priced on food for up to four people a table. That’s 32.50 each for three course meal! We love the entree with rich prawn flavour and the dessert with delicious peanut butter cheesecake on Oreo base. We are glad we have chosen to pair with wines. White wine is sweet and refreshing, whereas Shiraz is interesting filled with flowers fragrance. Overall great experience.
