Our expectations for food and service were okay. Some of the food tastes great, and a few once not good like orecchiette with scallop and other ingredients were overcooked no staff however there was no touchpoint to ask if the dish was good because hardly did we eat it and we didnt recive our side dish. On arrival, we requested a table, and the team leader said the staff is a small team and we cant clean a dirty table now as we are busy (however half of the restaurant was empty, and some guests have finished eating). This is an unexpected experience. Overall presentation of food was great.

Tks for the scrumptious meal and excellent service! A perfect place for friends gathering with excellent views of the harbour.
The food was good. The octopus had a beautiful char on it and the steak was cooked beautifully. The venue was very open with lots of natural light coming in and you can easily see the harbour bridge. The only downside is they forgot a few of our dishes and we had to keep following up with them before they brought it out. Overall a good place for lunch with a view.
Quite disappointing- had a 12:30pm lunch reservation. Arrived on time and was seated near the window- it was raining and we had rain jackets on - no one offered to take them so we just took them off and sat them on the floor next to us. We were then told we weren’t allowed to have a hard copy menu and had to see menu online using a QR code- this was fine but we were confused when we were given a hard copy drinks menu. My partner ordered a beer and then we proceeded to wait. There was only one waitress on and was very obvious she lacked training, which isn’t her fault but shouldn’t be left alone be the face of Q dining if she doesn’t know what’s going on or how to handle the restaurant. After 15 minutes , still no beer and only 3 other tables seated, my partner got up and politely reminded them. The room was strangely quiet with no music or ambiance, the wine fridge completely empty and fridge light turned off, stained carpets, smudges on the hard copy drinks menu and there was a fork on the floor under the table next to us. (Yes I’m being picky but considering the reputation, location and prices, you expect the best, or at least a quality standard. A male manager then came out of no where and came to say they didn’t have the beer in stock... we were polite and said not to worry and that we would be dining elsewhere. Arrived at 12:30 and left at 1:00pm- the only thing we had was water. Was a shame, as we had caught the ferry over from the northern beaches.
I unfortunately agree with a recent review from Prudence. It was a few months ago we had dinner at Q dining mid week. Similar to other reviews the staffing of the restaurant is not acceptable Due to lack of staffing the presentation of the restaurant also suffers. Many tables left with dirty dishes after the diners appeared to have left some time earlier. I'm not sure if the floor of this restaurant was in the middle of renovations several months ago but it was totally unacceptable for a restaurant if this price point. The extremely dirty appearance of the floor throughout the restaurant in itself is a reason I actually wouldn't return. The actual food was quite good, and for me and my dining partner was very enjoyable. Unfortunately thought there too many other negative points to distract from the food. I'm an Accor member and can say this is a disappointing experience. The unfortunate thing is that I can see there have been certain negative reviews listing several issues for over a year. Why would the owners of this restaurant not be listening.
Had my birthday dinner here and the service was superb! We were greatly welcomed by a man who seemed to be the manager and were served by the best attendant! She was so polite, friendly, kind and welcoming, and I regretted not asking for her name so I could send my regards to her. Just knew she was half Spanish half Filipino. The food was good/ great, and there were several times we were checked on to see if we were okay, if the food was good etc. I left with a big smile on my face!
Delicious food, and at the right take, great view over the harbour
Really can only comment on breakfast as we've only had dinner here once. But the food is tremendously variable, not in a good way. Also some days they really don't know what toast is.
