We made a day of it. Had dinner at the restaurant, took pictures by the fiddle and walked the boardwalk. We had a great time Sydney! Thank you.

Its such a nice place to see . Awesome shops , great visitors from near & far & great walking track next to it as well. I love it .
Yes, it is the biggest fiddle in the world. No, you cannot play it... The Big Fiddle statue is the first thing you see when you arrive in the Port of Sydney. The oversized instrument is visible from anywhere in the harbour and any Cape Breton could recognize it in a heartbeat. It is one of the largest tourist attractions on the island, (due to its location). The fiddle is not an actual instrument for you musicians out there. It does not play. However, it does have speakers inside of it which project fiddle and Cape Breton tunes across the port and through the cruise pavillion. If you are arriving by ship, you no doubt will have to visit the fiddle. However, if you are just here to explore the island, or perhaps are a local looked for a bit of culture, check out the Big Fiddle. A little ceilidh won't do you any harm.
Billed as the Largest Fiddle in the world, it certainly is.It's 60 feet high, made from stainless steel and visible to all ships coming into port. Close by there is shopping, great restaurants and museums. It's one of the better port waterfronts we have visited.
Buddy you wanna see this thing jumin' jehoshaphat shes a big one
Loved it. Probably the BEST looking and tasting Steak Frites with Atlantic Lobster Risotto in the background. Must try the risotto.
First time in the city. The big fiddle is cool. Next to the big chair. Nice walk around the boardwalk too. There's a public boat launch nearby and lots of places to eat and listen music all around the area. 5 buck fish and chips from a vendor on the boardwalk.
This us an amazing spit to visit
