Ive never had an issue with any Syracuse VA. . Im not big on change but Dr Cerio has been a blessing. Vocational Rehab has gone above and beyond aswell.

I chose to go to the VA as a last ditch effort to get my life back on track. Only complaint is that it can be difficult to schedule an appt when you work first shift Monday thru Friday and need an appt after 3:00 p.m. Private practices were medicating me to death and most in the area has 4 to 6 month waiting periods just to get established. The choice to get my care through the VA saved me from years of getting nowhere with a stubborn doctor.

Absolutely awful bureaucratic system they take a cookie cutter approach to psychological illness mainly PTSD, they trying to medicate heavily everyone who comes through their doors. If anyone's wondering why the number of Veteran suicides and so staggeringly high it's probably because of all these medications they're shoving down veterans throats that increase the risk of suicide and other mental illnesses. 8 years going here no other option but shove medication down my throat and do psychological therapy that's one-size-fits-all. Billions of dollars of funding to the VA and this is the best we have to offer?

Really poor continuum of care. High instance of being cancelled on, especially if its a Friday. It is the VA after all, so, not unexpected.
