Ever since the printed word was corrupted through the introduction of e-readers, etc, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to find a bookstore, much less a GOOD bookstore. I've been a Book Cellar customer for years and it's ALWAYS a pleasant experience. 1st- it's got that "used bookstore SMELL"! Ahhhhhh!!! 2nd- The help is always friendly and ready to assist as needed. And 3rd (and most important- you can browse for HOURS without being accosted, bothered, upsold or interrupted. You get to BROWSE. Try getting THAT at Barnes & Noble!!! Don't get me wrong, I love B&N. But their newish aggressive customer service model is just plain wrong. The Book Cellar hasn't forgotten who their customer base is: Book people who love to quietly browse. Stop in & experience the ink & paper heaven that is the Book Cellar!

They were extremely helpful. Wish I'd known about this place before now.
A nice atmosphere, plenty of books for people who like very very mainstream authors (think James Patterson, Danielle Steele, Dean koontz). Probably the biggest romance section I've ever seen in a store like this. Not great selection in terms of modernist, post modernist, or other more modern or even classical literature. Staff was very nice and helpful. The store is good if the book selection is to your taste
If I were to die and go to heaven, this is where I'd be. SOOOOO MANY BOOKS!!!!!! There's just something about a nice, solid book in your hands that no electronic device can match (don't get me wrong, I have the Kindle app too, but this is such a great resource!! Do yourself a favor and spend some time roaming through and see what they have!! #CoolDadApproved
Awesome little treasure in Solvay.
Drove out there and found out they are closed for good
The best of the best. Will order it if they don't have it.
It was closed when it said it was supposed to be open.
