The staff were all very nice; however, I do not recommend this business for management of scalp psoriasis. I had a free consultation back in October 2019 for hair loss related to extensive psoriasis. After a staff member viewed my hair follicles under the magnifying glass, I was told my hair follicles were \dead\ and my hair would never grow back the same again. I was offered some sort of treatment to remove the psoriasis scales from my scalp on a weekly or biweekly basis, and each treatment was hundreds of dollars. Once the scales were to be removed in a few months, a hair piece could be applied. The hair piece cost thousands of dollars. Discouraged, I went back to see my dermatologist. My dermatologist told me that hair loss is not permanent from scratching related to psoriasis. After being on a series of topical medications and shampoos, I was finally started on a biologic injection called Stelara. I take this injection every 8 weeks. 1 month after starting this medication, my psoriasis started to clear and my hair started to grow back. It has now been 8 months, and my hair is growing back to its very thick hair. This business may be good for individuals suffering from hair loss related to chemo. I do sincerely hope insurance helps cover the cost of hair pieces because they cost thousands of dollars without it. For other hair loss problems, I highly recommend getting the opinion of a dermatologist first.

I have been going to Profiles by Kristin for approximately seven years. I needed to find a stylist that knew how to work with my thinning, fine hair. I have been very happy with Tracy since my first appointment seven years ago and everyone there is just awesome. Always friendly and caring. Recently, I decided that it was time to do something about my thinning hair. I met with Nikki and we went over the options and their associated costs. We decided on a hair treatment system that fit my budget and would be successful. Jenn and Tracy are taking great care of me and my hair. I’ve had two treatments and I will be having my third soon. I’m seeing new growth already. I highly recommend Profiles by Kristin.
