Our first stay at the Marriott Residence Inn was back in August 2020. It was our first time in Syracuse, as we opted to keep our travels in state due to Covid. We had such a great experience and enjoyed the city so much we decided to come back for a long weekend. Our second stay was just as enjoyable as the first, reaffirming how much we love the Marriott staff and Syracuse- specifically, Julie and Peter. Through no fault of the hotel, our floor smelled like cigarette smoke pretty bad. Julie and Peter were more than accommodating in rectifying the situation right away. We were traveling with two kids and our dog, and they went above and beyond in seeing that we were all comfortable. We are so appreciative of the service, we can't wait to come back. Thanks again, Julie and Peter!

Exceeded our expectations!!!! * Check-in was friendly and fast * All staff treated us as honored guests * Clean, Clean, Clean * Modern rooms * Nice layout * Modern bathroom with glass shower * TV has access to YouTube, Netflix, etc. * Onsite parking for a 10 fee * Walk to restaurants and bars Did I mention how friendly, professional and helpful the staff was? Especially the evening manger/front desk on 10/9/20. She explained parking, breakfast, restuarant options, etc. We are so impressed that we will stay here every time we visit Syracuse! #408

The 5 star goes to Julie at the front desk!! I asked for extra pillows and she answered phone and brought them up to me. I asked for coffee and muffins and she served me. I asked for a valet cart and she brought it right up to me. I just called front desk in question of something on bill and Julie answered the phone and helped me once again!! She obviously runs the entire show there! Great customer service with a great attitude as well! Thanks Julie! I'll be back!!

This was a pretty decent hotel with large rooms its just like a one bedroom apartment with everything you need. The food was not that great though it was very bland but the service was decent.

I was very displeased with residence inn by marriott. I booked a 2 bedroom king suite threw bookings.com for one night. I was given my total amount that was due for when I checked in. When I got there I was told a different amount was due. I was told by the cashier that i have to pay to park, and that it's no big deal just an extra ten dollars. I was bothered by what he said I was already paying a lot just to stay for one night. I never heard of a hotel charging you to park. Why should a person have to pay to park when I'm paying for a room for over three hundred dollars. When I got in the room it had an odor and it didn't look thoroughly cleaned, all of the furniture was stained and the pull out couch cushions were flat so was the mattress. The coffee machine had an old coffee filter in it that started to grow mole on it . The breakfast was bland no good choices.

Very nice room. Most of the personnel is very nice and helpful. Syracuse is a wonderful cirty. The area around the Marriott is lovely. Feels safe with lots of good eateries. The Irish pub across the street is very good.
