The folks here are a breath of fresh air. They are local Syracuse residents and have kids in the SCSD. As a Syracuse resident, graduate, parent and teacher of the SCSD, I love those people who complete the circle. Support local small business!!!! Their food is fresh and f a b u l o u s! Being a Rochester native I had to try the garbage plate. I could have a few notes if I'm comparing it to a more traditional plate, but I love Soup R Salads and think they did a good take on it. I have loved all their specials over the 18 months I've worked downtown.

Great soup and sandwich place! We were recommended this place by the Historical Society, and we were not disappointed. There were quick, efficient, and great tasting food. This is family run mother, sisters, aunts , nieces . They have a variety of daily made soups, salads, and sandwiches. The food is good and they provide fast friendly service. Don't let the long lines deter you as they move quick and are mind reader's, if you go a few times they know what you want. Prices are great, love the family and eat there 3 to 4 times a week for lunch when I am in town.

Clueless rude unprofessional staff would rather watch tv than earn money serving. The place is old and warm down not a very nice place or atmosphere unfriendly wouldn’t recommend.
