The food was great, and the service was great as well! The people behind the counter greeted us as soon as we walked in, our order was ready, hot & freshly prepared. A lot of times, customer service is not that great, but Syracuse Halal Gyro is an exception. The employees are so happy & nice! The quantity of food was awesome, and everything was clean and high quality tasting. Couldn't recommend more!

Food was pretty yuck. I'm Greek and this tasted nothing like lamb. I don't know where other people buy their gyros, but this was medium sized. I couldn't believe how few fries were included with this meal! Will NOT be back. Okay, they're offering to make it up to me, but how will they know who I am?

Syracuse Halal Gyro (SHG) has been my go to spot for "Buffalo Chicken Wings in Syracuse since they started offering. Their Signature sauce, a combination of SHG's White and Hot sauces had the perfect combination of heat and tanginess for Chicken Wings. Tonight I got to try their first attempts at Chicken Tenders and what can best described as a Halal Garbage Plate. (Buffalo can keep their Garbage Plate, I've got SHG's.) French fries out of the fryer are covered with Shredded chicken from the flat-top grill then smothered with mozarella, before being placed back in the oven then topped off with SHG's White and Hot Sauces. It is comfort food at its best. Their chicken tender are lightly: spiced, floured and bread before deep fried. Leaving a crispy piece of chicken perfect for dipping. To Just as important as the food are the people behind the counter, The Men and Women who own and work there are exceptionally kind, and pleasant. They are always happy to explain their food, including what they are working on next for their menu. As long as they are open, I will gladly be customer and friend of the business.

Honestly the best Halal place I’ve ever been to. I used to live in New Jersey and every time I go back to visit I have to get Halal Guys. I was so happy to find out that there’s a Halal place right here in Syracuse. Turns out (I was pleasantly surprised) it’s even better than NJ! I decided to stop in last night for the first time and ordered the lamb and chicken combo platter. I was blown away. The meat was tender and the rice was seasoned perfectly. The sauces are also really good. The hot sauce is the perfect level of heat. Everyone behind the counter seems super cool and helpful. Well done guys, I’ll definitely be back and I’m telling all my friends to check you out. This is a hidden gem of Syracuse that more people need to know about.

I love this place. I order from here at least twice a week. Don’t get me wrong I can cook. But I work from home and have kids going to school remotely. This is my go to place for food when I need a pick me up... lol. I told my husband you can only get food like this from the city (NYC). And can you believe... they are from Brooklyn Great food... even better prices. Fresh seasoned meat and crispy veggies... you can’t go wrong!
