Why can't I do no stars. They lied about urine screening to an educated pathology worker and fiancé nurse. They left a patient with a 10 pain level pushing his button and ignoring him for over an hour. Patient is also epileptic and it took them 30 minutes to bring pads and put them on wrong. I took my own I.V. out to go home and use ice and heat and oral pain meds. I need an MRI for an L4-L5 disc herniation. Surgery was down back in October and the pain has gotten now better. Nurses where on there phone texting, telling jokes and eating food. Shutting of my call bell and ordering no scans of my discs. They are always slow, non-empathetic and talk about patients in from of other patients. Which is a HIPPA violation. They torment people and walk away. I am absolutely doing all I can to make sure the state and all agencies that audit them will be informed.

My mother had hip replacement surgery here, staff was friendly and helpful through the whole process. Allowed me to stay in a separate waiting section because we live so far away from the hospital. Very accommodating, great experience given the current restrictions with COVID protections in-place.

Go anywhere BUT Upstate Community Hospital. I broke my ankle July 2019. We all knew the ankle was broken and they had me sit in a quiet hallway for 20 hours without meds. I had nurses come over, they would take a peak at the broken ankle and then walk away. This happened for HOURS. No pain meds. No help. They didn't even fix the problem. They sent me somewhere else because they waited too long to fix the problem. I foolishly went again today for an ultrasound. I'm in pain and no one is here to help. People will come over. Say how they will do X and then they leave never to be seen again. This is a terrible place. Just don't go here if you need help.
