I first visited another area Walmart tire center. I needed 2 tires for the front of my car. I was told they had no openings and it was by appointment only. I was also told that it's the same for every Walmart so I would need to go online to book an appointment at any Walmart tire center. I instead called the Syracuse Walmart tire center. The gentleman I spoke to told me he can get my car in right away. By this time I was running a little later than I had hoped and had to leave for work within the hour. He said that would be no problem. Bought 2 new tires, mounted, balanced and out the door in 23 minutes. Talk about awesome customer service! Highly recommend the Syracuse Walmart tire center. I will definitely be back for my future needs. Thank you so much.

I went in to get my tires rotated and balanced, which should have been free due to us getting tires with them, but they went in and checked the tread on my tires which is more than half tread according to the other shop I took it to, and they tried to tell me that they could not balance and rotate my tires due to the tread being too low on one tire. Wow, sounds to me like they just didn't want to do something for free. I took my car there because of the fact that we took my husband's Pontiac there and they took very good care of his car. Now due to this situation we will no longer be taking our cars there, buying tires from Walmart due to the fact that they cannot keep their word, or shopping there, and I will no longer be trusting the store. I would not take your vehicles here to get maintenance or tires because when they say that they will balance and rotate for free, they lie. They find any reason not to do the work. Not good customer service if you ask me.
First off, if you're looking for a professional tire center experience, like at Les Schwab or Discount Tire, this isn't it! The sense of urgency is lacking, so you'll be waiting longer. I don't blame the employees working here, because they are also expected to be cashier's for non Auto purchases as well as answer the phones! Their tire prices are great and I found it's best to drop your vehicle off and either go home or do your shopping while they do their work, it's less frustrating!
The wait times and services times are horrible. Went on a Sunday and stood around the front counter for about 15 minutes before the teenage clerk came out. I asked about an oil change and was told it was an hour wait with an additional 45 minute service time. I was told that the vehicle had to stay in the parking lot while waiting. With a two hour time frame and three kids, this is a bit absurd. I thought it would be convenient to get an oil change while grocery shopping but I was wrong.
I got a great deal on trailer tires. Ordered them online and they arrived a week later. They installed them for free plus tire disposal fee and valve stems. Done in a timely manner. I wish I could have got shorter valve stems is my only wish.
If I could I would give them zero stars. Went in today for an oil change. No line or cars in the bay. Walked around the store for an hour with my three kids. Went back to pick it up and they hadn't even started it yet! The young teenage girl didn't even seem to care. She said they would get it right back. Waited for another 10 minutes and they still didn't pull my car back. Told the girl just to give me my keys because I wasn't going to wait any longer. I already don't do my shopping at this Walmart because management is awful! Should have taken that as a clue to not use the auto care also!
Had my headlights on my motor home restored for a good price, and they look fantastic!
