Speaking of creative, few places offer the unique dishes you'll find at Szechuan Spice such as half or whole Peking duck, whole fish stewed in bean sauce, tea smoked duck and Szechuan fish big bowl. chuan Spice is also open for lunch with a number of entrées that come with white rice and your choice of soup (egg drop, hot & sour or wonton). Choose from tofu with mixed vegetables, General Tao chicken, five spice beef, bon bon chicken and sautéed cucumber, just to name a few. The menu is extensive with favorites and specialty items to meet every craving.

Placed an order online this evening and it was never delivered. After an hour I tried to call and check on the status of the order but nobody answered the phone, it went to voicemail. I tried again several times. After about 2.5 hours my husband drove to the restaurant and they gave no reason for not delivering and not answering the phone and were not apologetic, they just said “oh did you still want your order?” Terrible, don’t order from them.

Fairly disappointed. In all three chicken dishes that I ordered, we only got chicken skin / fat and no meat. The texture was nauseating.

This place is consistently delicious. One of my favorite Chinese places in The Twin Cities. I BiteSquad from them all the time. Not only is the food always good, but they may be the only restaurant I’ve ordered from on BiteSquad that hasn’t ONCE been out of something or missed an item from my order. And I’m telling you I’ve ordered from them a lot and in very large quantities sometimes They’re doing something right! Definitely get their Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken, btw!

If you like fat and a lot of grease, this place is for you. Or maybe I just don't like traditional Chinese food, or ordered the wrong things. I found it inedible. 50 down the drain.

Szechuan Spice is our go-to for takeout - I've had quite a bit of the menu, and felt compelled to leave a review to first say how awesome this place is, both in terms of quality & service (they deliver almost always within 40 min, with the exception of peak holidays), and second to share my favorite items in case you are overwhelmed by the menu! For szechuan favorites, we love the Szechuan Spice stir fry, the Chicken with double chili pepper, the scallion pancakes, szechuan cold noodle, and szechuan dumplings in hot sauce. For more \standard\ chinese/american fare, the egg rolls are so good, along with the beef & broccoli and sesame chicken. Everything else is good, but those are the standouts!
