Access to the docks, a great little maritime museum and workshops to visit. \The Dock\ restaurant is next door, and there is lots of parking. They also host the annual Maritime Festival, and paper boat race.

Had a lot of fun here today. My kids enjoyed themselves. Was very hands on and a lot to see and do. The employees/volunteers were also very nice and full of tons of information. Highly recommend checking out this museum, lots of wonderful information about Tacoma, the Foss Water Way and waterways of Washington. Great rainy day activity. Photos: darlenestewartphotography

This museum was incredibly cool. They have so many different types of boats that have been preserved, a huge whale skeleton, anchors and other maritime novelties to explore. The best part was getting to sail on the Lady Washington for two hours while learning the history of the vessel.

Very interesting museum for kids to touch sea critters, check out miniature boats and climb on different types of smaller boats to climb on. There's also various types of boating lessons and activities for all ages. And this is a great event space for weddings and big parties!

We had so much fun checking out the seaport museum at the Thea Foss Waterway. We also got to tour the Lady Washington! #jblmareathingstodo
