This place has come such a long way. Back in 2005 things were so bad I quit going. Thank you to all involved in turning this place around. I truly feel as if the staff cares about me and all the other veterans that depend on them.

The personal is very helpful. If you ask a person and they didn't know the answer they we get a person who will be able to answer your questions or show you were you are suppose to go. Plus I seen the VA person escorted them to the place. I'm happy to say that the people I've talked with were mostly happy to receive it. As you all know you won't be able to please everyone. But the VA personal I have noticed seam to always smiling this helps the the people with bad moods to be more joyful and smile them self The smile is very contagious.

So far, the VA has helped me think better due to counseling. They help keep my system under control with the proper meds and prosthetics. They helped me not pass out by installing a pacemaker. And they saved my life when I had cancer. While no system is perfect, the American Lake VA has been a great help in keeping me alive and active. I caught this poster today.
