I went to visit the Manila’s American War Cemetery today to pay respect ... however understandable this sacred land is closed still ( for now ) during the Coronavirus restrictions So I took these photos from outside the fence ... plus 2 photos from when I was landing into Manila 2 weeks ago Last time I visited this War Cemetery was around 20 years ago

Free Entry Museum and Memorial. Great tribute to the soldiers who fought to keep the freedom of the Philippines. Extremely pristine and well kept, very beautiful and peaceful place to visit. They have a new museum installation thats has a theatre that tells the story of what happened. Definitely worth a visit

Free of charge for the museum. You must not bring any food or drink inside. The museum has well organized, and it is a peaceful place to visit and learn the effect of the war. Suitable for the family and good for the children to walk around the park. Recommend for taking American or veteran to visit this place.

Closed until further notice due to the pandemic?? One of the most open and spacious areas in Manila...CLOSED, due to COVID. And the shopping malls are packed! And no notice anywhere online that this place is closed until further notice. Folks, this is about the SAFEST place you could open during the pandemic. Really sad...

This place is of the best in the world for reflection and appreciation. This is the largest cemetery in the world for US WWII personal and the largest US war cemetery outside the USA. Exceptionally maintained and beautifully landscaped. Would recommend for those looking to reflect and get a small break from the city.

Definitely one of the best places to visit in Manila. Its open to the public and its for free. Such a peaceful and serene place to commemorate who made such huge sacrifices during the war.
