Such a lovely Victorian house. We having a baby shower for my niece there. I also, attend a friends shower there as well it was nice and roomy. Love all the rooms and windows look outside.

This is a wonderfully unique place available to the Tahlequah community. An historic house, it's a great place to host an event. The volunteers are amazing, as are the educational days.
It is a unique older home that I have been to numerous times in the past. Unfortunately, because I now use a walker for balance issues, I cannot ever go up stairs to the 2nd floor; very disappointing. However, I would be even more disappointed, if they had to ruin its old world charm with an elevator. If you have a chance next year, I would go to the Kentucky Derby Fundraiser for the Thompson House. There was trivia, Bingo, silent auction and many tasty and delicious, sweet and savory appetizers and drinks. Alcoholic or not, the choice is yours. The Kentucky Derby, itself, watched live, only lasts a few minutes. You will find out if your horse won right away and maybe win a prize. They request Derby Attire (especially a fancy hat) but they don't specify what year so your choices are limitless. To go with the house, I choose a more Victorian Theme. It's fun to play dress-up!
