Been to Japan twice and have been here both times. Such good food and very interactive. Recommend ordering a nice cold beer or another type of beverage as it does get hot in front of the hotplate

Arrived at about 4pm, so there was no crowd. Take off shoes before you enter and cook your own dishes. Staff was having their break time during our time there so service was not exceptional unfortunately. I didn't really like the fact that you weren't allowed to buy extra toppings. So you can't have a seafood okonomiyaki and add on say, rice cakes. The interior looks very old and well loved. Taste is nothing amazing but I guess people find it fun to cook and make their own food. I feel it's more of a novelty to come here, most probably will not return.
One of my favourite places to go to in Tokyo. First time was in 2007 and the last was 2018 and it was still really good. And it use to take me forever to find it after that. But thanks to Google maps these days, I've saved it and highly recommend it to all my friends visiting Tokyo. Such a wonderful experience.
Authentic okonomiyaki place. Traditional taste, not many variation on the menu. Good price. Has English menu and the staff is friendly. You can either cook it yourself or ask the staff for assistant. Nice local experience if you pass by this neighborhood.
Super cooking experience! Traditional looking, cosy restaurant with very friendly staff that will help you with preparing your meal. Very tasty dish, that you are cooking yourself sitting on a mat and having a table with hot pan in front of you. The staff will constantly check if you can manage to cook yourself, so you are not able to spoil your dish. Definitely worth visiting. Reasonable prices, water included.
