This place I have been going with family and tribe for over 40 years. Lady who used to run it has handed it down to her daughter. The absolute epitome of the “Japanese style western cuisine”. If you are interested in a different twist to the more recent authentic places, this is it. Obviously, Japanese comes in handy when entering the place. Great Steaks and the crab salad is awe inspiring!

The tongue stew was very tasty and the tender tongue just melted in my mouth. Yummy!
Would say it’s absolutely in my “must visit “ list of Asakusa. The iconic beef stew seems since the Second World War, hasn’t changed their recipe. The beef part is extremely beefy and tender, the sauce is also remarkable, which full of details and the sweetness of ingredients. Don’t miss here if you have chance to visit Asakusa.
The food and ambience is truly surreal, imagine eating just a metre away from open flames and fiery cookeries. Splendid.
Chicken cutlet was surprisingly delicious! As well as everything else that was above par. Would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu. Simplicity in its finest.
