What you need to try here is the fried rice (called hanchan if you get a 'half' serving with the ramen set, or YakiMeshi by itself... or Chahan). It's the hidden beauty of this place. The ramen is pretty good in itself too, the gyoza just okay. They have the regular set cheaper at lunch times, but the thing you will want to know is it is open very late at night (hence Yonaka perhaps). Good for after drinking. The workers may not always look friendly but they are in fact very friendly and nice people. If you're stopping in near Ritsurin for business or live there and have yet to try it, you won't be disappointed. There is plenty of options for the ramen, even things like butter, garlic, etc.

半チャンラーメンを頼みました。 ザ町のラーメン屋さんっていう雰囲気が出まくってて、懐かしかった笑 酒飲んだ後なら、もっとうまいかもなー。 絶妙のべちゃべちゃ具合がなんとも。

本当に夜中にしかいかないけど、この時間絶対ここが一番うまい！おすすめは、塩ラーメン！あっさりしてるけどしっかりとした味で私は大好きです！ 大将はあまり話したりはしないから、閉店時間がわかりませんが今日は１時に閉店しますと張り紙がありました。12:50にいったけど嫌な顔もしないで美味しいラーメン食べさせてもらいました！ごちそうさまでした。

昔ながらのラーメン屋で夜遅くまで営業している。 夜になると〆のラーメンを求めてサラリーマンで溢れてる。 店内は油でギトギトで置いてある漫画まで油まみれで少々不快。 味は良いのだが、値段が高く量が少ないので満足感はない。 オススメは醤油ラーメン。 昔懐かしの屋台ラーメンが食べたいのならここで間違いない。

麺はかなり柔らかめです。スープはコクはありますが後味はさっぱりしていて、飲んで〆のラーメンにはいいと思います。 焼き飯はしっとり系のしっかりした味です。
