Wonderful hotel with hot baths (public and private) which was a short walk from the station. The rooms were spacious, amenities were good. I like the fact that they not only offer tea as complimentary drinks but also coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was 1000 per person, which I definitely recommend. Their breakfast buffet included dishes from both a Japanese as well as Western breakfasts. Their staff were very helpful starting from check in until the very second we left the building.

Great place for a stay. The rooms are small but this is no different from most other hotels in the country. I love how everything is provided. This hotel offered one of the largest complimentary breakfasts I have seen in Japan with a very large selection. There is onsen services here including private outdoor versions. Perfect for those that want the experience without the crowds. They offer complimentary popsicles outside the onsen. I enjoyed everything about this place!
We had great time at Wat Hotel, the staff were super friendly, the hotel was near to Takayama Station, just around 10 minutes walk, the room was clean and comfortable, and had great interior, the great thing was they also had public bath which you can enjoy especially in winter. Overall the hotel was greatly recommended.
They have complimentary drinks in the lobby. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Well priced with spacious room that has a nice interior design. Not that far from JR station.
The hotel is nice and new. Breakfast buffet is simple and nice. Rooms are very spacious. They have 4 private onsen free to use for hotel guests.
Great public and private bath. Fitness room (around the corner) is okay. Breakfast has many options, but only few for veggies. Rooms are super clean and amenities are great: Smartphone with phone and internet plan for take-out is included.
