8 neurologists (and over 15 years) later I can say that finding someone who listens to you, believes you, and works with you to find a treatment and sustain that allows you to live the life you want is invaluable! I have alternative options for care but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Tallahassee is lucky to have Dr. Maitland and, if you're not local, travel here. I used to travel over 8 hours for care and finding the specialist is worth anything.

I really like Dr Maitland. The staff in the office is very pleasant. However, the PT Department could use some help. The department is impossible to get on the phone unless some calls you. Messages left are not returned. Courtesy is always appreciated in any circumstance. Hire someone to help with the phones if the therapists are too busy to return calls.

Huge thanks to Dr. Maitland and his staff! My student was seen by three different medical personnel prior to her appointment with Dr. Maitland. None of them was able to figure out what was wrong with her who has been having this headache and pressure for 6 months. He was very kind, professional, and thorough. Her forever lingering headache is gone now just in time to travel back home after her grad school in Tallahassee. Thank you!!!

My wife has been treated by Dr. Maitland for almost 7 years. I think he's great. His practice is well run with a solid staff. They are able to handle most anything we need without too much prompting. My wife has seen several different neurologists for her issues. Dr. Maitland is easily one of the best.
