This is the most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I transferred or should say wanted to transfer my son to this school. After speaking with admissions and explaining my son's problems I was told hr would be a great fit and now start the process of enrolling. After doing that paying for fees, buying uniforms, meeting teacher he would have I get a call saying before he can start class they needed to get more info from school board. Mind you he already had a date to start class and almost a week later still hadn't heard from anyone. I called and called finally I was told he cannot come to the school because they would just keep suspending him and I would have to pick him up. Fine then reimburse me my money right! No they will not refund me and I literally just has an argument with the secretary abour my money. So to Mrs. Stacey looks like small claims court is in your future.

My family have been apart of ISER for 2 years, this year has terribly dropped in Administration. The teachers are not informative regarding academic issues with the students. Their main concern is behavior. This has been an extremely difficult year for our family, my 1st Grader has had 7 new teachers from August to January. This is horrible, they have sent letters home assuring that they were settled with all the teachers that came, however, they were soon to leave. My 3rd grader has been having issues since he started the year because the teacher failed to communicate on a consistent basis with parents. They do not send letters home to keep the parents informed on what their kids will be reviewing for the week. You have to request this information. The school lack stability, organization, parental involvement and to a certain extent student involvement. My 6th grader has also had issues concerning her teacher she has had 3 teachers this year. This school is not one I would recommend to anyone, this has been a horrible experience and I regret the day I re-enrolled my kids into this dysfunctional school.

We had a very discouraging experience at Imagine. Despite what we were told about the staff at Imagine, the turn over rate is unbelievably high. My child's Math/ Science teacher left only a month into the new school year without any notice to the parents. The children believed for a long time that she was off due to medical issues. The ELA teacher left two weeks later, and we were notified after her last day that she would not be returning. The lack of communication between the teachers (likely because they kept changing), the administration, and the parents is unacceptable. This is the noisiest school I've ever been in. I've never heard so many teachers yelling at their students.

I went to imagine for a year and a half and the school is awful. The things they teach are not up to date. when i switched back to public school i was behind everybody else. they are also very rude to parents. they dont treat the students fair whats so ever. but as i always say everybody is intitled to their feelings. but i feel that that school is a waste of time and energy.

Hello online viewers, My name is Bryan and I am a former student from this school. I remember when this school first opened up, it was 1st grade for me. The amount of friendship and memories I got from this school was amazing. I'm in disbelief on how the school changed, the news, and the reviews. I find it hard to coupe that this could happen to such a small school. I still remember the cold and liquid paint on my hands that pressed against the first wall entering the school. My amazing teachers, and the after school program staff were kind, funny, and experienced. I learned a great of math, and an amazing technique to do multiplication in a fraction of a second; that I still use to this day. The school was professional, with good lunch, and a peaceful environment. I remember around the 4th year Principal Turknett left and who was it? I think it was Stacey Turknett(her daughter) who became the principal. This was when hell came to a stance. One, her daughter was so spoiled. She did whatever she wanted to because her mother was working there. Her daughter even hit a few boys and nothing happened at the end of the day. If you can't even handle your own children, I don't think you can handle a school. I saw that during the time as she was a principal more infractions began to occur. Like Mr. Stricker's situation, which to be honest. At the end of the day, I can't do nothing. The old teachers are probably gone and my favorite gym teacher(forgot his name), was the best. It's sad to see how much it changed. I am currently a sophomore in a school in Massachusetts. Just wanted to let my thoughts out. Thanks for reading

I feel that Imagine School @ Evening Rose is a great school. The teachers are very interested in teaching the children. Many others wash their hands when a child doesn't grasp on, but not here. Also, would like to comment on the "F" grade the school was given and the review that was so negative. It is more than important to be educated on something before you speak on it, otherwise you are preaching a false message to a empty room. Majority of the students came from homeschool where the FCAT isn't given. Therefore, when they came they had no score to contribute. Making the overall score for the school even lower. Still many kids are transitioning from homeschool to ISER. The FCAT doesn't even have much to do with spelling. So the argument of no spelling words will no longer be relevant. Thank you! I plan to keep my child at ISER, and in 2013 I plan to enroll my 5 year old. This is an awesome and wonderful school with smaller class sizes to give the attention necessary to each child. I do recommend better lunches however! That is all!
