This review has nothing to do with the medical care received. It is unfortunate that front of office staff can create such a horrible experience that if affects my opinion of the entire medical doctor's office. FRONT OF OFFICE STAFF is HORRIBLE. They have bad attitudes as well as poor phone management skills. READ THIS FOR A LAUGH... I unbelievably had a phone call where I was holding and someone gets on the line and asked, \ Who are you holding for?\, and then hangs up while I was answering the question! When I called back, I was not asked my name but was MAGICALLY routed to the person I was speaking with before being hung up on. Evidence indicates that the hang up was intentional OR the office staff is telepathic. All this in a MD's office! The reason I had to deal with the staff was to get a CPT code for my procedure. The responses ranged from: an unusable 4 digit code; the CPT code is not available until the Doctor finishes the procedure; and finally I was given a 5 digit CPT code! I do not understand why they were so annoyed to answer my question. The code was required for my insurance company to verify benefits. Talk about the need for health care reform, let alone better office staff. If you need a good laugh at how absurd phone etiquette can get, just give this office a call. I will be seeing the Doctor shortly, and will have a talk with her about this, :).
