Great place to hangout right in the middle of Landis Green. Gets very quiet. Always sunny and not much crowded. The grass area around it is always taken care of well, giving more space to hangout!

Allegedly, one of the many public parks/(swimming pools) on campus. The monument is situated in the center of Landis Green located on Florida State University’s eastern side of campus that is home to the original campus of the Florida State College for Women. The fountain represents the university’s evolution from a women’s liberal arts college into the coeducational research university of today.
I think these fountains are overhyped by those who enjoy a celebratory swim in the questionable water that lies therein. That said, they don't really detract from the overall experience so I approve of them.
This fountain, also known as Landis Fountain, sits in the middle of Landis Green on FSU's campus. It is a great place to bring dogs and often times there are students in it or around it.
A legacy.
