My AC was not working. Called for service and Chris came out same day. I had a faulty sump pump, which was shutting off my system. Chris suggested that I didn’t actually need a sump pump if he just did an easy pvc plumbing change to my drain. I had him do that. It works perfectly. The condensation water drains outside through the drain pipe like it is supposed to. Chris was able to get my system running perfectly under an hour and saved me hundreds of dollars. I was very impressed with his skills and knowledge but mostly with his honesty. This guy earned my business for life!

I recently hired Payne's Air Conditioning and Heating to remove an old AC unit and replace it with a new one. This father (Bob) and son (Chris) team, and their associate (Grant) did a great job! They are very knowledgeable in their field, and provided me with plenty of information so I could make an informed decision. They are professional and at the same time, a pleasure to deal with. I will rely on them from now on for all my AC issues. I strongly recommend them.

Service was much quicker than I expected. The problem was catastrophic requiring a new unit in early December during a cold snap. Payne's was able to acquire the new unit and it was installed in two days with a rain forecast. Service reps were not only thorough but also great at communicating throughout the process. I have stayed with Payne's Heating and Air because of the quality of their work and their responsiveness.
Installed newer High Seer AC Unit and worked through some very unique setup configuration options required to get the unit operational. I recommend this business over some of the other local businesses I have dealt with in Tallahassee.

Payne’s has a rare combination of being a top notch and honest company! I have been using them for years and they have saved me 1000s of dollars from the other highly advertised companies. I would recommend them to anyone in the big bend area.
