Decent customer service, good location, clean beds and bathrooms, and fast-enough wifi. My only complaint is the wild mice (or rats) that run around the kitchen area at night.

Judging by using these different opinions, I got very unlucky with my revel in (additionally my first time in a hostel), so i can attempt to be truthful in my judgment. the short model is: extraordinary deal for deep sleepers, however light sleepers will battle.
very warm and welcoming environment. the staff is very kind. the backyard is very serene as well
I was very well attended here. The price was very affordable. The guests and staff were nice folks, especially Dylan. Its located in a hilly part of town which I loved. You share the room with just a few persons. You can use the kitchen. They didn't have a parking space for me though but I managed to fit it in the spot they indicated.
Judging by these other reviews, I got very unlucky with my experience (also my first time in a hostel), so I will try to be fair in my judgment. The short version is: great deal for deep sleepers, but light sleepers will struggle. Pros: super inexpensive, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was calm when I walked in, seemed like a nice place. Small, but nice. Neutral-ish: it's a hostel - that means a lot of people in a small space. I am a light sleeper, but I thought I came prepared with my amazing mask that turns everything pitch black and helps block out some noise. Cons: the walls are super thin and don't come up to the ceiling, which means the mercilessly screaming baby in the next room was impossible to ignore, no matter how much I wrapped my mask and a towel around my ears.... I left by 11 pm. That all said, I do appreciate the staff being kind, and if there hadn't been a screaming child, it would've been better. I got unlucky.
Very affordable, close to some neat restaurants
I loved this place. It was a great price and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beds were soft and comfortable. I liked meeting all of the interesting people who came and went as well as the staff who lived onsite. It's a great location and right off of a bus route which made getting around pretty convenient. The place has a lot of character while still feeling homey and quaint. I would say it is a very authentic hostel experience. I like that the owners were very open to suggestions to make the place better. While I was there I noticed that they constantly upgrade things in order to offer their guests the best experience. Very happy with my stay and would come back if I end up in Tallahassee again.
Best hostel ever!! Great place to stay.
