Tamarack is probably the friendliest place in Idaho and the skiing /accommodations are excellent. Prices are reasonable, the snow is almost always good and they have plans to keep expanding the mountain as well as shopping and restaurants. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We. Loved. This. Place. It has just come under new property management and they are expanding and developing. As I understand, they should have all 7 restaurants open now, they have a little shopping village with a market if you need some simple kitchen stuff, snacks, or wine. We haven't gotten to enjoy the lifts and equipment rental access yet but we will for sure. The lodge staff were so nice and everything is so clean and nicely appointed. Ooooo and they have this great big hot tub on the back plaza that's got a waterfall kind of fountain in the middle. So cool to sit in while it was snowing out!We cannot wait to go back!!!! 15 stars. Loved it.

Had a chance to visit this year a few times to snowboard this 20/21 season. Gals in the ticket dome were friendly, lifties and ticket checkers were also nice and friendly. The snow was awesome every time and the runs were long with a lot of different options to link them together for variety. Not the biggest resort but definitely didn’t stop me from having a blast there

The resort is great, facilities, accommodations, ambiance... all great but, the most spectacular and meaningful part of the time spent here, for me and my family, is undoubtedly, the people. It is a rare experience to encounter such a magnitude of exceptional people, in an array so varied. I truly can not express how wonderful, friendly, caring, generous, thoughtful, helpful, kind and authentic the people of this lovely resort are. I will forever be thankful for the gracious people of the Tamarack Resort; Ann & her very special front desk crew, Ski Resort full of nice & happy people, fanatic Ski Patrol, the genuine & super guys running the Tamarack Express Chair Lift , Morgan at the Sports School & Jefe the Ambassador, and definitely unforgettable...Pete with Tamarack Security.

We had an amazing time. The accommodation was amazing. The kitchen was FULLY stocked to cook or bake what ever you wanted. Lifts were a breath away and so convenient for having two little ones. Staff was great as well! Nice and friendly!! Can't wait to come back. BRING your food to cook, NOT much at the resort yet.

We were there just before they closed for the season. No crowds, long runs, nice bowls and glades. East facing, so snow softened early for beautiful Spring conditions. We booked for next year on the day we left. Only limitation resort may have is that most slopes have same East facing aspect, so if conditions were not good, you would not have option to try different facing aspects.

Tamarack Resort is the next Idaho hot spot! Just a two hour scenic drive from Boise, the location can’t be beat. The ski resort, with the village and restaurants, has a great energy and a variety of things to do for the whole family. Skiing was awesome with short lift lines, long runs and fresh powder. We were able to experience true backcountry skiing with beautiful views and challenging terrain. The Discovery lift was perfect for our 8 year old son who is just learning to ski. We loved dining at The Reserve, Crusty’s Pizza and the Triple B Diner. All of the food was delicious and each restaurant had a unique flavor and style. The lodge which was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly making our visit truly relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed in a two bedroom lake view room with a fireplace, full kitchen and a large window where we watched the snow fall with a bottle of wine that we picked-up at the Village Market. The hot tub, in the snow, was fun and the outdoor fire pit was an extra bonus. I highly recommend Tamarack Resort as THE Idaho family ski destination. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great place!! Definitely recommend for the views, snowboarding and skiing. I was glad we snowboarded on Monday. We had the runs to ourselves! We loved the condo we stayed in and there's a lot near the resort to do. We rented snowmobiles one day nearby and went up to No Business lookout. Massage at the spa was amazing (Alpenglow). Room for improvement: food options are limited. Tried to go to different places but they were closed (Summit Bowls...tried 3 times!). The Reserve had VERY good food but expect to spend 100 for 2 with drinks. Parts of the resort are still under construction so I hope this place succeeds.
