The resort is great but the hotel is 2.5 out of 5. Needs remodeling. Hot water took several minutes, big coffee stain on carpet, bed slats missing, etc. More like a Hotel 8 with double the cost for location.

This place is nice and quaint. The rooms are spacious and have a small walk out balcony to enjoy the awesome views. There's clean and the staff was very kind and answered any questions we had. There are 2 pools one that is for kids and 1ft deep and the other for adults that goes up to 4ft 6inches. There's also a hot tube Wich is actually quite large compared to other hotels that I've been at. They have a large back patio with 2 levels and tons of seating as well. There's a gym and a bat downstairs and a restaurant but it's currently closed. The price wasn't out of this world it was 170 per night on a weekday and the room includes a fridge and they give you a passport card with some freebies like free kayak for an hour. Free cruiser Bikes for 2 hours one free lift up the mountain on the ski lift . Overall compared to prices in McCall I would definitely stay here again and make the drive to McCall it was like 3p minutes away and not a bad drive. Great stay no issues.
Treat yourself, and make it happen. As a family, we enjoyed every day at the Lodge of Osprey Meadows. The lodge was beautiful, and the staff and community were very welcoming. Filled our days with adventure, and outdoor activities, and ended the nights with a glass of wine by the fireplace.
A beautiful scene all around. I didn't enjoy that my hotel room had a tube 20 year old TV and only one small trash can in the bathroom. There wasn't a minifridge in the room as I had expected. A sparse place during the week, Tuesday-Thursday. The Tamarack resort is under constant construction across the parking lot. The sidewalk to the lobby is under construction. Kind and helpful staff.
Loved the Lodge and activities on the surrounding grounds. Friendly staff and lots of fun to be had up there. Definitely eager to come back again!
Very beautiful resort, pool, and rooms. Minimal staff on site at night, but a heck of a lot of security (both manned on site and throughout building structure) Very friendly and helpful concierge!
Beautiful Building Horrible (Nonexistent) Service Let me begin with the good. It's a beautiful property and building. Great amenities like spa, steam room, and hot tub. The rooms are super nice too. The bad. Imagine the Shinning for a minute. *Group of 8 of us came back after dinner at 830pm on a Wed night. There wasn't one worker in the building. No one at the front desk. No security. We stayed in the lobby until 1am. Never saw another guest and never anyone from the hotel. Not sure if we got locked out of our rooms how we would get back in. If there was a fire?? Could have walked out with all the furniture. *Hotel lobby bar was always closed. 4pm closed. 8pm closed. 10pm closed. Bring your own drinks if you come. 7 Devils, the only other bar, closed at 830pm on Tues night too even though the hours were posted later. *Had a corporate meeting. Asked for a safety debrief. Got a poor sense from two Tamarack workers/hosts that they knew the safety protocols like emergency number, physical address for 911, and muster point for fire. The only AED is at the summit with ski patrol, which is far away. When asked for active shooter protocol, no answer. My sense of poor safety protocols was only reinforced by the complete lack of hotel staff at night in case of a fire or emergency. *The projectors at the place are older than the Internet. No HDMI input. Went to present and had long vertical blue lines. Got another projector - again with no HDMI. It turned white into yellow. Great way to impress clients. The hotel has great bones. Just needs staff to make the experience great to match the awesomeness of the property.
Great place. Will definitely be returning. Rooms were amazing and so spacious. Hot tub was a hit to relax in. It does have quite a few unfinished buildings. I’m not sure on the story? Regardless, would definitely recommend
