Nlight was founded in the summer of 2012 to design innovative and nature inspired products that alleviate social and environmental challenges. Our first patented designed is called ReTire. ReTire is a modular geometric operation performed on a single tire by a series of cuts and repositioning of the resulting parts,. Cuts are performed by means of hydraulic powered steel blade cutting machines producing no extra waste, fumes, heat, or residues with very little electric consumption. A complete single tire, transformed into an interlocking 10sf modular panel that is beautiful, extremely long lasting, maintenance free, and outperforms all materials in the market.
