Horrendous service. People from other countries who neither speak nor understand English. My luggage lost now for two days. No way to speak to a reasonable employee. Will never fly Air Canada again and will post against them to warn others from using this company.
Terrible Customer Sevice It is understandable with all the flights flown that luggage may be mislaid from time to time; it is how the situation is handled that is telling. My son flew Air Canada from Honolulu to Vancouver (AC516) to Montreal (AC308) to Fort de France (AC954). Arriving in Martinique, he was told that his luggage had not made the flight, and seeing that there wasn’t another flight from Montreal the following day he decided to go on to St Lucia where he was to meet us on vacation. He called numerous times and was told to expect a call back, that he never received. After several days, he went to Castries airport in the hopes that his bag would be there, which fortunately it was. Today is Feb. 17 and he has yet to hear a word from Air Canada. He has filled out a reimbursement form, after reading the fine print, that informed him that he is eligible for 250 after the first 5 days and 50 very day thereafter. I am expecting that he will receive the maximum amount allowed given that they ruined his holiday, wasted numerous hours on the phone ( minimum wait time for a customer service agent 1hr ) and received absolutely no follow through. Air Canada don’t bother having a customer service department if you cannot even manage a call back!
