Anthropology will not post my review on their website so i came here. I ordered a storage bench from their furniture department. This is my first and last furniture purchase from them. They shipped it via ups which I was a little unsure about but ok fine. It was delivered in the middle of my driveway standing up on its end. I could tell it was going to be damaged. It was like the driver backed up his truck and pushed it out. The side it was standing on ended up being split up the back. The top decorative trim was busted off. Shipping it back would have been a nightmare and I didn’t have a way of getting it to the store that was nearly an hour away. Luckily my husband is going to mend it as best he can. Despite the obvious mishandling, the quality of the piece itself did not justify the price tag. The paint job was uneven and the trim on the other parts were put on crooked. While I understand most of this issue has to do with the delivery method, Anthropology has refused to post my reviews of the product itself or acknowledge my issue. I have been a long time customer but I now guarantee I will be telling everyone about this experience. I will never buy furniture from them again. If they are going to sell overpriced pieces they should really at least rethink their shipping and packaging.

This location is divine and the prices seem a bit higher than other Anthropologie’s I’ve visited. It’s located in Hyde Park Village and has a parking garage on site as well as many trendy restaurants and shops to visit within walking distance.

All Anthropologies feel the same way. The people that work there are always friendly. It always feel like the employees look the same despite it being different stores. It may just be me. The stores always smell amazing and welcoming. The layout is very spacious, which is a huge plus since it allows to accommodate social distancing. It is merely a byproduct of their stores' overall layout scheme. I find the pricing is always too high. Even with money to spare, the pricing does not justify the product. My better half enjoys the store so get to visit from time to time.

Zero stars I would give Anthropology for their terrible customer service. On 10/20/2020 I placed order no AP09216884 for some boots. Later these same boots went on discount so I contacted them and they honored the discount. What I didn't know is that they never cancelled my original order and placed a second order no AP09963642 :(. A month later I got an email saying that the boots were out of stock and they were not going to arrive until end of Dec or Jan. At that point I contacted them to cancel my order since I was going on a trip for several weeks and I wasn't going to be able to be home to get receive the boots. They still mailed and charged me for the second order and mailed the boots. I never saw the boots. They were probably stolen and Anthro won't take any responsibility for this. :(
