The positives: food tasted fresh and looked clean. It didn't taste pre-cooked or glommed on with MSG and sticky sauces you can't identify. The negatives: the four dishes we ordered were bland and had almost zero taste; the pork fried dumplings had freezer burn and the rice was really dry. We'll try China Taste again bc it's nearby and at least the food was freshly cooked. And, maybe choose something other than the curry chicken.
This is my go to chinese restaurant in south Tampa! Reasonably priced. Food is always hot and you get a lot of it! China taste has the best lo mein. I have not ordered a large variety of things off the menu, but everything I've had has been good and many items were exceptional. I'm happy to give this local restaurant business!

Family environment, fast and friendly service. Walk in and immediately get a great view of the kitchen. Food is made to order. House soup was amazing and the price was reasonable.
