Beautiful new hotel just opened on January 29, 2020 Ultra modern design with a clean and contemporary atmosphere! Phenomenal staff that make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive! The room was very spacious and comfortable, it had a sink, refrigerator, microwave, safe, iron and ironing board and well designed furniture. The gym had more then enough sophisticated equipment for a complete workout. They also have a laundry area with washers and dryers. I must say the Rooftop pool and rooftop bar are the highlight of this hotel with a unique design and layout, they also have an open area where you can see Raymond James Stadium. Element hotel is connected to the aloft so it’s two great hotels in one. Definitely worth the stay for anyone visiting Tampa. Hats off to the staff John and Amanda where awesome! :) Highly Recommend!

Horrible customer service, they really need to get it together. From the front desk not being there, not answering their phone to the restaurant manager and lady serving their 2 star breakfast being rude to guests. Then the rooms, they have ice machine but no ice buckets. No coffee machine or cups in the room. What’s the point of an ice machine? Brand new hotel but seems like at least one elevator isn’t working at all times. Try to get a maid to clean your room is near impossible. You’d think this is standard practice but nope they use COVID as an excuse. The list goes on and on how bad this hotel is. I’ve stayed here a few times only because it’s the location I need to be in. Always think they might get better but nope always seem to disappoint.

I so wanted to like this place!!! Its a brand new hotel connected to an ALoft hotel. The hotel is nice, its very modern and the staff is mostly friendly. They have a beautiful roof top pool and bar with amazing views of Midtown and Downtown. Its right by the interstate and close to alot of Restaurants and shopping. NOW THE BAD... Other apartments are currently under construction and so is the hotel. A constant sound of power tools and construction workers every where all day long. When we arrived we were told there was only valet parking for people staying at Element and the self parking for Aloft. During Covid, why would I want to hand my keys off to a stranger and let different people every day drive my vehicle. I would have to wipe down and disinfect my vehicle every time I get in it. One of the valet guys told me if it makes me feel better he has already had Covid. WHAT?!?! Thankfully one of the front desk ladies gave me a parking pass to self park after being told no by another employee before her. One our second day there was an emergency evacuation for a fire. So were all standing outside waiting for the fire department to let us back in for the false alarm. Lastly on my last day I along with 5 service members got stuck in the elevator between floors. We had to open the door and pull ourselves out. This place clearly is not ready to open. It truly ruined the stay!!!!

To begin, we booked our stay at this hotel 3 days prior to arriving and called multiple times the day of check in to remind them of our arrival. When we arrived the room was not ready. After waiting for about an hour for our room we received the incorrect room. On top of that the room was dirty. I don’t mean just dust or little issues. I mean majorly unsanitary. Employees and patrons were not complying with the supposed hotel policy of wearing masks as well. On top of all of this they charged my card twice for the stay. Charging us double what was meant to be paid leaving me 600 dollars out. Hospitality and service was poor. The front desk woman in the lobby had an attitude and never once apologized. Overall just don’t stay here

Two words for you... pet friendly. Staff was very kind and professional and knew not to ask extra questions about our service dog. So professional. Pool is heated! Rooftop bar! Awesome place for the money.

Valet was a hot mess. Amanda at the front desk was the BEST! So nice and helpful! It's brand new so I think they are working out the problems

Stay was OK. Did two staycations Feb 13 and Feb 28. Rooms are modern and well suited. I give a A on rooms. Unfortunately, parking is an issue. Charged 25.00 for parking yet those who patronage the rooftop bar park for free and force those of who stay there to self park a long distance away. The Valet part just adds further insult to the principal. Fire alarms went off but I applaud the safety measures and staff handling that particular issue. I concur with other reviews on staff at rooftop. Definitely needs improvement on the rooftop bar.
