Apparently, I have to write a review to get my point across. I've asked to speak to a manager twice, but none was on the premises that could assist. A manager was supposed to give me a call on Monday. I've yet to hear from anyone. I called on yesterday phone just rang. I purchased 3 rooms over the weekend. The stay was going well until there was soiled wash clothes found/ left in the bathroom.

The lobby looks okay, but when you get towards the rooms you can tell this isn't a traditional Marriott in any way shape or form. The hallways are dinghy, the rooms are low quality and aren't maintained well at all. We booked two adjoining rooms and both bathrooms didn't seem like they were cleaned well and one was missing the entire liquid soap dispenser. Worst of all, both rooms had roaches. We found/killed seven in one night. Roaches at a Marriott?! I've stayed over 900 nights in Marriotts and this was the first time I've ever seen anything remotely like this. I never read the reviews for Marriotts because I've never had an issue, but after reading them I don't know how this hotel is still affiliated with them. The only positive thing is that a couple of the front desk staff members were courteous.

It was nice, no bath though only walk in shower. The beds were very comfy and clean! Everything was clean. Front desk was nice, pool area is a little dark as far as lighting but wasn't overpowering with chlorine. Very very enjoyable will be back.

Relatively clean. Convenient. Breakfast was lacking but all else was good.

The location is perfect, it's a little secluded. I hate staying at hotels right on the highway. My blanket had clearly not been washed before I checked in but I'm still giving 5 stars. Everything seemed really clean, but like it had sat empty if that makes sense. Not dirty but there was definitely dust. The front desk staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly! The area seemed very nice. I did not go in the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was good and hot! No complaints really, a room nearby was being excessively loud and before I could go down to the front desk to ask them to get them to quiet down they were already on it. It was a lovely stay. Only disappointed they do not allow pets.

I stayed at Fairfield Inn Tampa Brandon, Room 130, on February 15 and 16, 2021 with my elderly parents, and I would not recommend staying here. It felt like a Motel 6 for Hilton prices (341.00 for 2 nights). It was way too expensive for such a nasty place. The receipt we asked for when we checked out doesn't even have the hotel name on it--probably because they are even ashamed of this place and don't want written proof out there. When I made the reservation, I asked for 2 queen size beds. Our room had 2 double beds. The room smelled and felt damp all the time. There was brown staining all across the bottom of the window coverings. The bathtub walls were dirty. It took a long time for the bathtub/shower water to get warm, so it was difficult to figure out how to turn on the shower, with the old, weird, funky controls. The tub felt like it had a small narrow tunnel in the middle that angled up on both sides, making it difficult to stand, and the water did not drain properly. There was a nasty refrigerator in our room that was running, but not cold since it had a lot of ice inside that needed to be defrosted. The breakfast was not good. There was a big pothole in the parking lot that you had to straddle every time you went in or out. And last, but not least, we saw a bug in the bathroom when we were getting ready for bed our last night, that really grossed us out. It was probably a roach, but I don't know since I've never seen a roach in my life. So we had extra work going through every nook and crevice of our luggage, bags, and personal belongings to confirm we didn't bring Florida roaches home with us.

Horrible, horrible! Do not book here if you can help it. Front desk agent (young lady) was amazing but the rooms were not to Marriott’s stand at all. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Checked in, entered the 1st room that smelled just like smoke. Called down to the front desk, young lady offered us a spray to make it smell better, she had a great attitude which made that part better. We took the spray, sprayed. A few hours later, we were in the 2nd room and a roach crawls over my daughters head. Problem. Call down stairs, no answer... About a hour later I go to take a shower, 2, TWO roaches in the shower! Talk to Manager Nina she tells us they are sold out for the night! I say then I will check out, you tell me ok and you will refund me for the 2nd night. WTH of course you will being that I won’t be staying! You aren’t doing me any favors! You should offer me a refund period. Again, horrible hotel. I would not recommend it at all.

One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at in a while. The service was impeccable. They don’t have continental breakfast at the moment due to COVID, but they do provide to go bags consisting of a banana, muffin, and granola bar alongside coffee, OJ, or apple juice. Highly recommended!
