Interesting Bistro on Davis Island. A wide variety of choices on the menu. From Mediterranean to Italian to Sushi and Poke Bowls. Inside and patio dining available. Sunday brunch served. Belly dancing on the weekends.

Fountain Med is a nice spot. Met ( owner?) Chef Alex for quick chat with friends. The food is proper classic, and good, if you like this cuisine. It's not for everyone, in every group. The staff tries hard. You can tell, but it's a small local place without systems and resources of a big chain or 5star famous place. Cut them a break. Have fun. Don't be in a hurry. You'll be fine

Chicken Kebab plate was delicious, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the spices were delicious. The atmosphere was also very beautiful outside on the patio with the fountain.

Good Greek food. The kofta is good, but it will be perfect if it’s not over cooked. I liked the chicken kabob more, it’s flavorful more than the Lamb .

Nice setting from the outside, but to be honest that was the most pathetic attempt of mediteranian food I have ever tasted in my entire life. Absolutely inedible, frozen, not fresh, greasy and disgusting..

Not a great experience. They were out of the wine we ordered, suggested a replacement and then came back to say they were out of that wine as well. Our 3rd choice was available, at a higher price point. We started with the Calamari appetizer, there was no feta cheese as mentioned in the description and the marinara sauce was ice cold. The night continued to go downhill with an unappetizing shared entree and with the expected entertainment playing only 1 song and then just sitting around smoking hukkah. The outdoor atmosphere is beautiful and our server was great...it was a shame the total experience couldn't have compared.

I just discovered this restaurant last week for Father's Day. Based on my 1st meal I can say that the gyro had some of the best tasting gyro meat I've ever had. But the sushi with spectacular. I had the tempura and the lobster roll and they were large portions of excellent food. I will definitely be going back very soon. UPDATE: 2 weeks later we had another great meal and wonderful service. I would recommend ignoring all of the negative reviews. They are excellent. One of my new favorite places in Tampa.
