Such a delicious Japanese restaurant! It’s no frills and all about the delicious menu. They have Japanese dishes that are always tough to find locally, like okonomiyaki and soba. I went on a weeknight for a quick dinner and was seriously impressed. The soba was a great texture with lots of flavors to add to each bite. I got a few pieces of nigiri which were good as well. The service was good, you can tell the owners are working hard and focusing on the food above all else. If I lived locally, I’d stop here every week! I can’t wait until I’m back again to try more of the menu.

I go every now and then with my partner and we love the place regardless it has a very cozy and quiet atmosphere food has always been great
Most authentic Japanese food around. Ingredients were immersed in flavor and so fresh! Pictured from top : Katsu and soba, Okonomiyaki, pork udon. (Not pictured gyoza).
Such a cute Japanese restaurant. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Their menu had a good selection to choose from. I ordered the katsu curry and it was delicious! Good portion size. It was very flavorful.
Best original Japanese food in Tampa. My favorite is the spicy tuna salad and the sukiyaki. After 2 years in Japan this is a fact. It is just a small little place, far away from the trendy and swany places.
A favorite place for delicious japanese food. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. The staff was helpful and kind. The prices are good for what you get. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.
My bf and I come here a couple times per month. Every dish has been INSANELY delicious. We aren't sushi people and haven't tried sushi, but the variety of other dishes (ramen, soba, curry, etc) have SO. MUCH. FLAVOR. It is evident that the food is home made and authentic. They take great pride in the dishes they serve. We recommend the Spicy Miso Ramen and Pork Belly Curry. I also get some plum wine from time to time. To be honest, I PREFER the atmosphere here, especially after getting off work. It's quiet and intimate, as some other reviewers noted. No loud music, quieter customers, and several booths to sit at. To address other people's complaints: 1) This is a mom & pop place. You go here for the food, not for the "5 star" Western commercialized experience. It's a very down to earth place. 2) They aren't "rude", it's a language barrier. Anyone with exposure to people from cultures other than their own could figure that out.
Food is amazing 10/10. I go at least once a week for take out. The environment is a bit overwhelming with advertisements taped everywhere ... looked like it used to be an Italian restaurant that’s now sushi. The need a good remodel and I’d give them a 5 star.
