Great experience. Went to their Tarpon Springs store thinking it was still Narcosis and was pleasantly surprised. The staff there are friendly, they will work with you as far as training and have great deals on gear. Haven't had tanks filled/inspected there yet so Ill have to update this when I do. Overall great store.

If live in the Tampa area and need your dive gear serviced. This is the only place to go. I've lived in Tampa for some time, and I've had my gear serviced at many dive shops. This is the only place that does quality work. I live 1hr away and I will make the drive to have my equipment serviced here. Moreover, they have a great dive calender whether you dive in the gulf, Keys, or Palm Beach area. If you're new to the area and you're into scuba, this should be your first stop.

It has been 6 months since i took my scuba certification at this store through the use of the Groupon and have yet to receive my certification card. I was advised months ago that our instructor had some sort of emergency and had to leave the country, yet somehow left with all of our paperwork. He never submitted any of the paperwork to SSI. After months and months of ME having to call the store for updates, I still have not received my card. I was contacted by an "associate" of the trainer to re-submit new pictures since SSI somehow is declining our original pictures (one would think the instructor that has been doing this knows how to take the correct pictures needed- in the end he lost the pictures). What is sad is that the store owner, Jeff, never seems to really care about the customer. He states how sorry he is this happened, etc , etc but makes no attempt to at least make some recompense to the customer. This is horrible customer service. I will never do business here again, in fact have already told several friends to get their certification elsewhere.
