My husband and I have just moved to Tampa a few months ago. We have tried many Spanish Cuisine restaurants. There hasn't been one restaurant where the food was as good as what we expected. Both of us were raised in NY and lived in CT. So we have always had plenty of access to different Cuisines. Nilsa's is by far the best food we have eaten since being in Tampa. We will continue ordering from here because to us they are the best. We have no complaints. I was wowed by the customer service when calling and trying to order via Uber eats. They have exceeded my expectations tremendously. If you are looking for delicious food and phenomenal customer service, look no further. You have found the hidden gem in Tampa. Man I love this place. The food is so authentic that I thought my own mother was cooking. Real Puerto Rican. I mean it's hard to find an all Puerto Rican Restaurant in Tampa. Great food, great atmosphere, feels like I'm on the Island or even in the Bronx New York. Gotta go check them out. This is why I love my city of Tampa Bay.
Good pastelon. Really good pastel. Wish there were olives in it. That's the gem of the dish.
I just discovered this place when on a whim I searched for Spanish Food. Man this place is good. It is so authentic I felt like my Abuela was still alive and cooking in this restaurant. And the prices for the main dishes are reasonable. I think the sides are a bit pricey, but for that authentic Puerto Rican flavor I am willing to pay it! I love this place and will be a regular customer for sure.
I am a driver for a delivery service. This bistro is always nice and polite. The food smells amazing and they are fast at getting items together.
