I NEVER play the race card. But let me tell you... The lady at this location in Tampa is rude as can be. I come up to the counter and asks for assistance as I am looking for 2 gold necklaces to purchase. She provides me with a mirror and starts showing me necklaces but in an annoyed way, as if she had already set her mind to the fact that I wouldn't be purchasing anything. Condescendingly not trying to show me the more expensive necklaces. This young white girl comes up to the counter and immediately the saleswoman perks right up and happily starts assisting her leaving me with the necklace. Then she SNATCHES the mirror from in front of me (while I was using it to clasp the necklace behind my neck) and says "you're done with this right" and places the mirror in front of the white girl who was just as shocked as me and mumbled "sorry" to me even though she did nothing wrong. I handed the necklace back to the saleswoman and didnt say anything and walked away and went to shalimar and spent 500. I am a woman of color, mixed, I am a bank manager, I was dressed appropriately not in sweatpants, I was courteous . There was no other reason for the treatment. Would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

I bought 2 chains for the Holidays as gifts. One of the chains I am very happy with. The other one was a Xmas gift for myself. It broke in Feb. I took it to their store in Brandon where I live. They referred me to a repair kiosk at the mall bc they don't repair there. I gladly went. Paid for the repair. It broke again last week. I don't wear it daily and it just fell off while I was sitting. With only 4 months and already 2 repairs I figured I'd go to their Westshore store where I purchased it just to see if they would exchange it for a different chain or at least offer to repair it for free. I asked for an owner/manager but they didn't have one today. Bc I live far and I didn't want to have made a wasted trip I decided to go ahead and explain. End result: it had been more that 7 days since purchase so no exchanges. I could maybe purchase another chain or they could repair it for a charge. I decided to go to my regular jeweler for repairs. I was super disappointed. Was hoping to give a local business a chance but I will not buy from them again. It's too bad. The prices were reasonable and the other purchase was fine, however their customer service was shotty and that cost them returning customer.
