Absolutely fantastic staff, so upbeat and helpful. Everyone at the front desk was amazing, with fabulous attitude, especially Keith. He went above & beyond to help us with our luggage cart. The hotel could use more staff & a deep clean but I attribute that to lean times due to covid-19. Large rooms & huge bathroom with separate bathtub & shower, overall beautiful hotel with a small private beach. FYI the pool is closed.

Hotel was affordable and location was perfect! Close to beaches and the view from the room was beautiful. The room was decent but we did find some hair in the bed. I would recommend that they do a better job cleaning before new guests arrive. Staff was helpful and courteous and the private beach was pretty cool. The restaurant was nice and they gave us some free drinks on the house.
The staff was pleasant but there wasn't great attention to the common areas like the bathrooms. They're not cleaned on a regular basis and the garbage can in the parking garage was overflowing. Covid19 has a lot to do with reduced staffing so it's understandable
Very nice hotel with excellent Aqua restaurant. Dinner we had honey glazed salmon prepared to perfection, outstanding. Excellent wine. Lunch was very good also. No need to go elsewhere were it is so crowded. Only I don't understand why smoking is permitted, including cigars, in the public spaces which happens to be where we ate, on the patio. Marriott's don't allow smoking in publuc spaces, staff said yes they allow it. ??
Great hotel. Views from room to bay are awesome. Cool beach at hotel with jet ski rentals, boat rentals etc.
First of all I stay at hotel rooms over 250 days a year. I’ll start with the good, comfortable rooms, on site restaurant with seafood, private fake beach area facing the bay with boat and water ski rental, and close to the airport if that’s what you’re doing. Now for the negative, this was the worst maintained Westin I’ve ever stayed at in my life, it is clearly understaffed. I tried calling the front desk I total of five times over the course of two days and only once was the call answered. The other times it rang about 30 times and then automatically hung up. The bathrooms are nice but they have some pink mold in various locations mixed with some black mold. Try to order room service but it was not available and no one ever answered the phone so I came down to place the order in person which took over 35 minutes to actually place my order, slightly expected during spring break but there was only two people working so once again they’re vastly understaffed. This is not the employees fault or problem it is managements issue. The pool is closed, The hotel could use a small face lift and many of the surfaces are worn. There was no bellhop service so I asked for a luggage cart and it took about 40 minutes for them to find it and bring it downstairs and by that time I had a completely unloaded the car and made 4 trips to the room. It does seem odd in in the land of undocumented workers the hotel is vastly understaffed. If you plan to go to St. Pete beach it’s a 40 minute drive.
I understand the travel industry is recovering. I understand a lot of people are not back to work. But to pay over 200 a night and you have to go get your own toilet paper and clean towels is ridiculous. I can make my own bed and clean up but price should be discounted.
Love the private beach and convenient location to bahama breeze.. Bartenders were awesome at the aqua restaurant but not big fan of the food except the key lime pie was delicious
