I always love the Westin excellent location great room. I love the bed and bedding. Everything in the building is secured. Keycard is the key to everything.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days. We’ve previously had back issues so when our back started hurt badly we didn’t think it was the hotel. It wasn’t until we looked under our mattress to find floor like wooden planks under our mattress which was causing the pain to our backs when we woke up. I spoke to the manager Brian and as soon as he seen the pic, he said “what is that” then he told me he’d take 150 off or comp 1 night of stay when we stayed 4. I told him that was unacceptable and he told me he can assure me nothing else would be given. This is a poor management move and I would encourage everyone to look under their mattress before staying here to prevent back issues. We will be escalating matters since you on sight management was poor at relieving the issue. We will not be staying here again.
Worst hotel ever. Friends booked a block of rooms. I arrived first hotel refused to let me in the room until I called the person that booked the room and got the last 4 numbers of my friends credit card to verify, I called them got the last four numbers had them on speaker phone so the staff could hear them verify I was allowed to go to room. They (my friends) were still 30 min away from arriving then suddenly the staff wouldn’t let me go into the room without their credit card here even though minutes ago they said I could go to the room. I pleaded with them to let me go to the room as I was having a female emergency they could care less. I’ll never stay here again. EVER.
Centrally located typical of high end hotel. Staff friendly and supportive
3 nights stay and not once the room was cleaned; had to request towels and soap daily. Rate was changed for the third night and I did not get any notification in advance. With only 2 out of three elevators and the covid request to 2 people per car, last day had to wait for the 4th elevator in order to enter. I believe the 32 daily parking rate is highway robbery, with no option to park yourself. And finally will have to call tomorrow for an additional 18.89 in my bill which I have no idea what it is. I guess the only plus thing is to keep The Bible available. Note that this is for room 905; Antonio Valdes not to be confused with room 903 Tony Valdes
Amazing place. My wife, our 1.5yr old and I stayed for three days. It was a little vacation for us. Our stay was amazing!!! Definitely felt safe and had no concerns at all. Andrew and Mia were an amazing help. We will definitely be going back.
Staff was nice and helpful. Other than that , nothing open in the hotel..Pool was ok..The rooms and hallways are old, need some fixing up. The floor in our room was sticky, my sneakers and the rest of my families kept squeaking because of this. We had a bay view that was nice. No shuttle service to airport, you are on your own. At checkout, I let them know but nothing was done .
I would like to give a shout-out to the manager Andrew at The Westin Tampa Waterside. Andrew was very friendly and professional. He was able to answer all my questions. I called a few times and he sounded like he was thrilled to help. I can feel the great personality and smile through the phone. Thanks
