I brought my Husky 5 month old puppy to VEG after speaking with them multiple times on the phone on my way there. I called about my dog Skye who was having an allergic reaction to something (later found out it was a bee sting) in her mouth. Swelling multiplied 2x-3x ever couple minutes to five minutes leaving her hardly able to breathe unable to see her eyes were swollen shut etc. Me, upset, worried and scared for Skye they calmly walked me through every step of the way to get there as fast as I could. (25 minute drive approximately) When I got there nurses were already on top of it and rushed out to meet me and get Skye from my arms. I didn't have a mask on, I was anxious and they were able to keep me updated every step of the way by either phone or stepping outside, coming to me even and speaking with me. The vet and staff were remarkable on how they handled the emergency, me and my emotions, also helping Skye and making sure I was fully informed of everything while they shared their knowledge with me even in my state of panic. Once Skye was stable and doing better, they kept her for observation while I ran home to get 3 kids off the bus, my husband got home and two babies. Still keeping me informed of any and all updates including how much they loved her, she can open her eyes a little more, etc. They helped my dog survive when I thought it was going to be too late and she came home that very same night. They helped me financially, mentally, emotionally with all love and care Skye could ever get. I can't thank the staff at VEG enough for their wonderful and beautiful hearts! Mary E. And Skye

***Update*** Capone had to go back 2 additional times for complications and both Dr. Anderson and Dr. Callahan we're just as phenomenal as my experience with Dr Moses. This hospital is beyond professional and amazing throughout the entire staff. The were all so patient with my shear panic and terror for my dog's life and health. Because of these 3 women and the staff at VEG, my dog is home and resting. They communicated with me every step of the way, conversed with my primary vet, and worked another vet office he was referred to for an ultrasound, sending all records and x-rays, as well to ensure they all agreed on the best treatment for him. Such a wonderful team that really works for the animals! Thank you a thousand times! The ladies here that I interacted with were beyond impressive!!! The patience and compassion they possess in such dramatic and panic-filled situations is incredible. Dr. Moses kept me updated every step of the way in my dog Capone's care plan and explained what was happening in terms I could understand. I was even sent photos after his procedure to restore my faith that he was going to be ok!! (Photo attached) The bill was fairly expensive, as the be expected, but for the service they provided and being able to bring my baby home, it was worth every cent. Thank you so much to all who saved my baby! Words cannot express my gratitude!

This is my second experience having to go to an emergency room. My dogs are my children they aren’t just pets. The first time was at blue pearl, it was so expensive, I didn’t feel welcome. The moment I pulled up to veterinary emergency group, I was welcomed at the door. The windows are see through and the staff was working and attending to other pets. I noticed the dry erase board they had a system going. I felt comfortable and that my Tobi would be in good hands. I was already nervous and emotional wreck seeing this was my baby first emergency visit. He was good with the staff and they loved on him even though I knew he was in pain. My doctor was outstanding and the staff continue to keep me up to date on what was going on. Honestly my visit was a great experience. Praying nothing happens to neither one of my pets again but if something does, I will be back to veterinary emergency group. Thanks to the staff and Dr Moses for everything.
