I was very impressed. After their very recent refurbishment this looks to be a excellent place to watch stage shows of all kinds.

Beautiful newly refurbished Assembly Rooms. Lots of shows are booked. Also the premises has a lovely bar and the Claymore Lounge which serves food.
We saw a pink Floyd tribute band who were amazing the stage, although small was perfect as was the sound and lighting - the whole building looks lovely

An amazing but sensitive restoration and refurbishment has brought out the history of the building whilst making it fit for the now. Tamworth Assembly Rooms is unrecognisable from what it once was. You will especially be impressed if you attend having seen it before the refurb. It now has the benefit of a cafe and bar with food, upgraded everything from seating to lights and sound. What was once claustrophobic and let's be fair, dingy venue has been expanded out to comfortably cope with its capacity. It now feels after significant investment and careful consideration to detail like the theatre it should always have been and Tamworth deserves. On the whole this is an excellent jewel of Tamworth's Crown that the whole of the town can really be proud of. PS: Please anyone reviewing this venue, I urge you to do so about the facilities. It doesn't make sense to review any acts that happen through here.
