Awesome view, get a table near a window. Great food. No side effects. I had the burger!

First time at The Gorge and my whole family enjoyed the food and service. We had the best waiter who was very friendly, prompt, and polite. My wife and daughters had salads and such and they all enjoyed them. I had the Carnitas Tacos which was on the specials menu and they were good but not great. The pork was a bit tough and the corn tortillas were too hard. The had fried them, I think to soften them, but over did it. They were just too hard. And the guacamole was not the freshest I've ever had.
Yum! I've always had a positive experience with the Gorge. We've been visiting Taos for many years. The food is always consistent. We ordered food to go last Saturday night. Everything was delicious. The Gorge was on its game as usual. We got the calamari, goddess salad & gorgeous burger. The service was friendly, efficient and fast. They got it right as usual.
Experience was pleasant this time. Waiter was nice. My food was tasty. Green Chile chicken alfredo is very good. Overall it was a good time. Other plate could have used more flavor but still good. I would recommend.
We ordered the fish and chips to go. It wasn't as great as I expected it to be for this restaurant. The fish crust between the fish and the crust seemed like it was still kind of raw. The portion was small for two pieces of fish and what little fries we got. It was also served with coleslaw but to tell you the truth it was the worst part of the meal. Honestly the coleslaw was terrible. Now for a 15 a plate the dish could have been better. I think The Gorge needs to do some research on some recipes for a better coleslaw to put on their menu other than the one they are using. Its dry and it's way to vinegary and not to my liking nor was it to my guess that I invited to join me for lunch today. For the price I think it's way overpriced portion should be bigger food needs to be cooked properly and they really need a better creamier coleslaw than the one they are using now. I hope this business makes some changes in the future when it comes to their menu if not I myself will no longer be eating at the gorge anymore nor will my guests.
